Physically the book is nice came in great condition with no rips. The illustrations are beautiful. The big problem is the horrible translation to Spanish. Was very disappointed & would have returned it if possible. Better to just stick with the English.

I love the English version, and the illustrations are beautiful. The Spanish translation is horrendous. I would have returned it if my son wasn't so engaged by the illustrations.

Childrens book "Where the wild things are" but in spanish. Translation has some liberty for example actual title is "Where the monsters Live" but very readable and fun childrens tale and imagination.

I bought this book because, although I'm not completely fluent in Spanish (yet!), I wanted to expose my son to different languages. I love Where the Wild Things Are, so this seemed an obvious choice for us. The story is wonderful and imaginative. The illustrations are some of the best in children's literature. Some of the pages in the book have no narration. Only pictures. So it appeals to younger book enthusiasts who aren't quite old enough to read. One of the best additions to your home library you'll ever find!

This is the first book I remember owning as a child, my mother bought it when I was in preschool. Now I've bought a copy both in Spanish and English for my son to learn and appreciate from an early age

I require my high school Spanish students to read "real" books and I have found that giving them good children's literature challenges them just enough but not too much. It helps if the story is familiar and loved from their own younger years.

Always been one of the family faves and now that we are a bilingual family, esta muy bien!

This has been one of my favorites growing up and I am so excited to find it in the Spanish version so that I can read it to my 4 month old.

I love the old lady books and we have several from the series so far, but this one is terrible-I could have written it better. It seems as though she wrote this book in an hour just to meet a deadline or something. The events don't make any sense, the rhyming is bad and the ending is stupid. Save your money or get one of the other old lady books.

The best one of this series! The rhymes are really fun to read aloud and kids love this one! We started a tradition to read it every Thanksgiving to all the kids in the family. But it's fun to read at anytime. My son loves to finish the rhymes now that we've read it a few times. Silly, a bit nonsensical, and a perfect light-hearted read for children of all ages!

We love the "There was an Old Lady" series and having it on my kindle makes it so easy to to read where ever we are. This one is so funny my 5 year old grand daughter was rolling around on the floor laughing. Grab them all and laugh along with us.

Wonderful book - a must have if you do estim. Clear explainations of neurology allowing you to extend your understanding of acupuncture. Great evidence based treatment protocols.

Gives us a scientific explanation of why acupuncture works. Teaches a vocabular that doctors and other healthcare practioners can understand and relate to. The principles can be applied to any issues I see in my practice, not only pain, but emotional, and internal medical. A must have and understand text for anyone practicing acupuncture in the 21st century.

I wish more acupuncture books were written like this one. The topic is focused, in this case on a electro stimulation acupuncture (EA), covering both theory and practice with the right amount of examples and treatment patterns. The author covers the anatomy of the main branches of the nervous system showing how distal points and local points align with both western medical understanding and eastern medical treatments of diseases using acupuncture. The description of the type of nerve endings and how to they can and should be stimulated (frequencies and milli/micro-currents) to get the desired results is by far what makes this book most useful. There is a little redundant information in the book, but probably this is well placed for future reference rather than reading. While this book is geared to those use EA in their clinic, I think it would be useful to any acupuncturist to help in understanding the efficacy needling techniques.

Aurelio Baldor was born on October 22, 1906 in Havana, Cuba. My six-year-old does NOT want to learn time on an analog clock... I have been trying...and trying...and trying all kinds of different ways... I found a mediocre set of time-flash cards where I live (on a US territory far, far away) and posted them on a wall by a clock with labels of the time shown and that has helped for the o'clocks...but the rest are still "tricky" for her...I broke these babies out after receiving them last week and, at least for a short period, they kept her interested in learning a bit more because of the cute and changing pictures, front and back, on the cards...big and little hands are clearly shown and in different colors... She even showed interest in the money cards >:D ...another nemesis... again, with great ideas/pictures to capture attention...Nice quality... Kept her interest ~ even if just for a little while... A bargain at twice the price!! :)

Great cards. Simple and perfect for introducing somewhat similar concepts to my 6yr old so he can master them at home while learning in school.

Nice set of flash cards for the price. They can bend easily so be careful. Still worth it though! I have quite a few sets and I am happy with them.
