This is an Outstanding book! Way to go Sheri Koones! This book, like Sheri Koones' previous book gives multiple examples of modular homes, except this book does so through out the world. Each modular house's story is around 4 to 6 pages long, with multiple pictures, floor plans, and text. What I liked about this book, over her previous book, is this book introduced me to some "new" ideas. (Or at least ideas that I had not heard of previously). There are also different rating agencies throughout the world, for energy efficiency, and this book mentions some of them and how the owners of these modular houses adapted their building techniques to fit local sites, and situations. No "honest" critique would only say good things, so... I didn't like this books tearing down of Victorian homes, to be replaced with new modular homes. There is room for all kinds of homes in this world, including old, Victorians. Sheri Koones would be an invaluable resource if you ever decide to build a modular home, and her books are the next best thing to her personally being there. This is a Outstanding Book, filled with great ideas and Ms. Koones did a outstanding job writing it! I can hardly wait for her next book!

I have the entire series of the Prefabulous books and love them. If I could ask one thing I'd ask there be one created for "average" homes that don't cost so much. There are some smaller homes featured in some of the books but most look way over the average budget. Still it's a great book and I've spent hours on the couch reading it and looking at the illustrations. Very good books (I recommend the entire series of her books).

Probably building on her prior books, which I have not seen, this one surveys utilization of sustainable, environmental-friendly technology almost around the world in a beautifully photographed volume. Always on the lookout for ideas and details that I would like to adapt and/or use in a "dream home," the many homes in many extraordinary settings provided me with literally a wheelbarrow full of ideas and dreams. Plus, with a lot of my reading on solar passive and sustainable tech being dated, this survey really showed me how greatly this area has progressed in these recent years, and beautifully so! Seeing some of the homes being pre-fabricated reminded me of time in Southeast Alaska where many of the nicest and most efficient homes were pre-fab and then barged up from Washington state and put in place. This volume will not only be on my coffee table but is going to be and already is being read and enjoyed immensely!

All books, either they are for clarinet, or oboe, or flute, or trumpet, are exactly the same ! They do not even take the time to change the instrument played in the CD. So if, for example, you bought the "flute" book, and play the CD, your hear the tracks played by all kind of instruments and very few played with a flute. I experienced this when, after purchasing the "flute" book, I purchased the "saxophone" book, and discovered that it was exactly the same. Money thrown out of the window. "First Lessons Flute" by Mel Bay is what I recommend.

I have relied on Accent on Achievement books to teach me flute, clarinet, and alto saxophone. They are excellent starting points for anyone looking to learn. It starts off with some very basic songs to help you get a feel for your new instrument, and moves on into some more complex pieces. They were also very good for helping me learn to read music. This book is no exception. I'm still learning how to read chords instead of single notes, but I am confident this book can help me get through it!

I had to buy this book as a requirement for my daughter's flute lessons at school. It came very quickly. However it has also fallen apart very quickly. The book is transported in her backpack to school and home. It has not gone through much at all, but the pages keep on falling out. It seems like the staples did not grab all the pages very well. I wish there was a better option but for now I just keep reattaching the pages.

Good quality book and quick delivery. The reason why I took off a star was because it smells like cigarette smoke. This is for my 11 year step daughter's band class and I'm trying to get it out of the pages.

This is a pretty standard book required for beginners in band. Ours was brand new, in great shape, and meets the school requirements.

BE AWARE, this book has almost no value to anyone seeking to understand why someone buys. This book was written by the CEO of a consulting company as a marketing tool to get you learn about the services he can sell you. Page after page is filled with storytelling about the products and services his company offers and VERY LITTLE is actually about selling. Save your time and money; don't buy, download or read this book.

As the author points out, nobody likes to be sold to, and everyone prefers their own ideas than anyone else's, especially in the B2B world. "Why They Buy" takes a slightly different approach to selling than other consultative sales books. By gently leading the prospect towards making conclusions that support your solution as the most obvious, the prospect essentially sells himself or herself on it. This can only happen at the speed at which the prospect is moving. The sales executive must go on the customer's ride, not the reverse. "Why They Buy" takes a servant leadership approach to sales. If you have ever thought that because you aren't naturally charismatic and extroverted that a sales career isn't for you, this book will provide reassurance. Today, selling effectively is about listening, patience, and humility.

Fuess made it sound very easy. The logic presented in Why They Buy is very simple. But the fact is that most of us would instinctively try to SELL TO our customers as opposed to LEAD them to buy. Through the easy to understand writing style and real life examples, Fuess turns the table on traditional sales and convincingly persuades the readers to walk in customers shoes and truly understand their pain. There are enough materials presented in the book that can make anyone into a good salesman and turn any good salesman into an excellent one. A must read for anyone trying to stay ahead of the game.

Previously promoted with the uncatchy title of "What’s Your Digital Transformation ROI?"The author‘s basic premise is that selling is an art. And the art is that by listening to the prospective customer and asking pertinent questions that steer them towards a sale, it gradually sells them on the idea as if they had come to the conclusion by themselves. What David Fuess naturally likes to refer to as the ‘Feuss Method’ is to firstly psychologically analyse the “Why” people want something and then shepherd them towards a conclusion.However, I find the whole book is basically an advert for his company and its services. And he takes forever to gradually get these points across. Much of the content is devoted to the history of the company and how it developed. Page after page is taken up with telling us how good his method is and plugging his offshoot services. By page 30 I was already itching to get to the nitty-gritty of how it all works. But only by about page 60 does the method slowly creep in as a Case Study of how their innovative software handles a selling situation. I confess was unable to finish the reading the book. I skipped through it and found much of the same all the way through. This may be useful for some companies who need their software, but for the lone individual or an author wanting to know how to sell more books digitally, reading this is not a great resource.

its a school book.

This textbook is a Latino biased book. Immediately reading into the first chapter I had an instant recognition that it is a complaint for the Latino/a community. Each chapter forth rather than explaining Latino/a theologies for me is perceived as a broad-stroke complaint that Latino/a communities are shorted in Christian Theology. Rather than teaching Latino/a theologies this is a take on how how to pursued the reader to sympathize with Latino/a communities. Would not suggest for a course textbook.
