I own way too many cookbooks, the number will never be disclosed unless I have a lawyer present. When I take the time to leave a review, that means something. So let me say I ADORE THIS COOKBOOK. I stumbled upon her show on amazon prime video and was wondering why I had never heard of Anna Olson - so much time wasted, I wish I had known about her earlier... At any rate, the cookbook is close to perfection - the organization, with three levels of recipes, Simple, Scrumptious, Sensational.. is brilliant. If you watched her show and found yourself writing down quickly the ingredients and amounts to make them later, this book will feel like a gift from Nirvana... Even if you've never seen her show, you'll love the way she explains each recipe very clearly, with beautiful photos, and you won't be able to wait to get to your kitchen to try her concoctions... A real gem of a cookbook!
I am a big fan of Anna olson and following her on youtube. I have tried some of her recipes in this book as majority of these are from her youtube channel. It is worth for me as I had to write down the recipes from her youtube channel.Now I have all of them in already written format and i can refer them anytime, without looking for my diary which keeps missing. The book quality is fairly impressive, pages are not glossy but have decent shine,each recipe is shown with a picture,which is a great deal for a learner like me. I can relate myself with the recipe if I know,how my final product would be like.
I love this book, it has my favorites recipes from Anna Olson. The quality is good, greatly photos and also something that I really like is that has different types of measure.I can't wait to make all the recipes 😊😀😄
The book includes almost all of the recipies included in the TV program.The book is a MUST, since not only gives you very well explained recepies for fondation recipies and especific items, but it also describes techniques, tricks and everything you need to know either to start baking, to improve your skills or just to enlarge your recept list.I strongly recommend it!
I started to follow up Anna Olson because of her TV videos and how easy the recipes look. Well, this book is just an exact replica of her TV/on line recipes, so you do not need to take notes and go back and forth. Easy to follow recipes, great results, beautifully presented. Perfect for those just starting at baking or those with some/lot of experience. Totally recommended. I love this book and Anna. I am mad because her Canadian YouTube videos cannot be viewed in US. What a waste. This would be the perfect combination.
Recipes are very easy to understand. Anna has written this cook book as if shes right beside you talking you through the recipes.I brought this book because i found Anna on the cooking channel on foxtel feeding my baby. I loved the way she cooked and how her kitchen was set out and the way she spoke to the viewers was very engaging.I then found this book and her other ones.I love the big colour photos next to the receipe.I have made classic chocolate chip cookies the classic lemon pound cake which i think tastes nicer than butter cake .Due to baby in home i don't have a lot of spare time but i do plan on making other cakes that i have found.Overall great book. For Beginners on.
Best baker and chef I've seen! She has awesome Food Network (Canada shows) videos and HAD to have this cook book to actually see more recipes! Very much worth every penny! Awesome chef! Cookbook is full of tips and step by steps! I love it!
Captivating recipes. Actually I was watching her show on TV. Could not catch all the measurements for the ingredients, so bought this book. Learnt some simple techniques. She makes things seem easy.
